As I was preparing for the session, I learned that the Dale Carnegie folks are offering a a free download of "Secrets to Success." Just go to dalecarnegie.com and follow the instructions to get the free download. They have also put out an iPhone app by the same name. I'm really enjoying using it. The app includes many valuable tips and 30 principles on video. This is a great thing to have in your pocket when you need the occasional reminder about dealing with other people. Some of the videos give you both the wrong and the right way to handle specific situation. The app is available in the iTunes app store for 99 cents. I think it is well worth it.
As I write this blog, I am listening to the world-renowned guitarist, Jason Vieaux, practicing in my living room in preparation for a concert tomorrow at the Music At Bunker Hill Concert Series. What a great player. I love listening to classical guitar and this is truly a treat to have it live right in the house. I know that the concert will be wonderful tomorrow. On Monday, Jason will be performing for the students at the high school and running a master class with students from Rowan University and Montclair University as the high school students watch.
