The exhibit floor is focused on relationships between manufacturers, distributers and dealers, and covers the entire industry from classroom music to the professional entertainment level. Although not large in number, there were a few exhibitors showing online music assessment tools that look very intriguing. I think this is going to be a pretty quick moving growth area and provides some worthy alternatives to existing platforms. This competition should result in improved features and innovative ideas. I hope that we will be able to get some of these companies out to state and national conferences so that teachers can experience these new technologies first hand.
